Even in the financial services segment, seamless communication is critical. In 2021, IXPERTA deployed Atos Unify technology at 42 Financial Services to ensure efficient and secure trading communications.

Initial Situation

42 Financial Services operated an outdated trading communication system that no longer met the company’s growing capacity and functional requirements for serving its key clients.
The company decided to modernize, with a primary requirement: a modern, flexible trading communication system with high operational reliability and professional service support.

The Solution: Atos Unify Communication System

The clear answer was the Atos Unify OpenScape Voice communication system in a redundant (cluster) setup, selected for its outstanding carrier-class reliability of 99.9999%.

Atos Unify provides a robust multi-line communication platform with innovative architecture, an intuitive graphical interface, and features designed specifically for traders.

The integration also included the OpenScape Xpert trading application and ASC recording technology, creating a fully integrated communication solution.

IXPERTA delivered 30 advanced trading workplaces (turrets) equipped with specialized Xpert terminals and additional speaker modules enabling simultaneous listening on multiple active lines. Traders also gained the option to work remotely, using the same terminals in either hardware or software form.

The project was delivered in cooperation with German technology vendors Atos Unify and ASC. The biggest challenge was ensuring a smooth switchover from the old trading system to the new one. The relocation of 42 Financial Services to larger premises enabled pre-installation of most technologies without disrupting operations.

Future Outlook

With a growing client base, further system expansion is planned, including migration from ISDN30 to SIP trunk connectivity.
